Single Stems

Single stems at IFIORA are live, fresh cut flowers for people who want to build a bouquet themselves or pick individual stems. We do not offer artificial, dried or preserved flowers here. The species, variety, colour, length, unit of sale, minimum quantity and price currently available are specified on the product card. We do not promise a permanent range beyond the variants shown in the shop.

Cut flowers by the stem — who are they for?

This way of buying works when the customer has their own vase, is planning their own decoration or wants to top up an existing arrangement. It lets you decide deliberately on the number of stems and the colours, but it requires preparing and caring for the flowers yourself after delivery.

How to choose individual flowers?

Check the unit of sale

The term “by the stem” does not always mean you can order any single stem. The product card indicates whether the price applies to one piece, a pack or a specific quantity variant.

Compare length and proportions

Stem lengths can vary. If you plan to combine several products, check the dimensions and take the height of the vase into account. You should not infer the exact scale from a photo alone.

Take seasonal availability into account

Roses, tulips, peonies, carnations, lilies and other species may appear at different times. These are examples of cut-flower categories, not a declaration of current stock. The current product card is what is binding.

How to arrange a simple bouquet at home?

• Prepare a clean vase and fresh water.
• Remove any leaves that would sit below the water line.
• Trim the stems with a clean, sharp tool.
• Set the tallest flowers first as a reference point, then add the rest gradually.
• Do not bind the stems too tightly and leave them access to water.

Caring for cut flowers

Change the water regularly, wash the vase and trim the ends of the stems. Keep the arrangement away from direct sunlight, radiators, draughts and ripening fruit. Detailed recommendations may differ between species. The seven-day freshness guarantee applies with proper care.

Frequently asked questions

Can I buy a single stem?

It depends on the specific product. The minimum quantity and the unit of sale are given on the card.

Are all species available all year round?

No. Availability depends on the season and current deliveries.

Will the flowers be arranged into a finished bouquet?

A “by the stem” product does not automatically include a bouquet-arranging service. The scope of preparation is described on the product card.

Can I choose the exact colour and length?

You can only choose from the currently available variants. Any other requirements must be confirmed before purchase.

Do you offer wholesale?

This collection is IFIORA's retail offer. Any larger order requires individual contact and confirmation.
