Funeral flowers Warsaw – how to choose the right form

The right form depends on your relationship with the person who died, the character of the ceremony, and the place of the funeral. An arrangement for the closest family differs from a gesture from friends or wider circle. We take flower symbolism, the scale of the ceremony, emotion, and individual wishes into account.

Funeral sprays

Funeral sprays are smaller, lying arrangements placed on the grave, by the coffin, or by the urn. Family and friends often choose them. They may stay in quiet white or echo the life, character, and tastes of the person remembered.

Funeral wreaths and special forms

Funeral wreaths are large, formal compositions chosen by the closest family, companies, or institutions. We offer wreaths, half-wreaths, teardrops, hearts, and special designs. A wreath may hold 10 to 60 flowers and plants; we make round, oval, or custom forms, with the option of a ribbon with an inscription.

Funeral bouquet and condolence bouquet

A funeral bouquet goes to the ceremony or cemetery. A condolence bouquet is given to the family — a quiet sign of support, usually with a card. That distinction helps match the arrangement to the moment. Each form can meet the client’s wishes.

Which flowers for a funeral?

The most traditional choices are chrysanthemums, roses, lilies, and carnations; modern arrangements may also use calla lilies and anthurium. We use only fresh, seasonal flowers — never artificial. The final mix depends on the variant and supply. We care about harmonious arrangements and longevity through the ceremony.

Roses, lilies, and callas

Red roses speak of love, white of purity, pink of remembrance. Lilies suggest purity of soul and compassion; callas underline dignity and calm. Colour can be chosen personally if it recalls something important about the person.

Chrysanthemums, carnations, and gladioli

Chrysanthemums symbolise remembrance and are valued for lasting well. Carnations are lasting too and stand for respect and gratitude. In Polish tradition an even number of stems is chosen. Gladioli give larger forms height and formality, so they suit grand wreaths.

Colours for funeral flowers

The most common mourning palette is muted: white, cream, burgundy, and violet. Colours that mattered to the person are also possible. A limited palette helps join flowers, greenery, and ribbon into a coherent composition.

Ribbon and personal words of farewell

A mourning ribbon can carry a short, elegant dedication — for example “Forever in our memory” or “With deepest sympathy.” Please give farewell words, ribbon text, and the signature exactly when you place the order.
