A classic funeral spray, arranged from flowers in soft, muted colours and finished with a ribbon. The inscription shown in the photograph is only an example — the wording of the ribbon is agreed individually, according to what the mourners wish to say. The form suits especially well when flowers are brought together by a group: family, friends, colleagues or an institution. The spray is prepared in three sizes — small, medium and large. The choice of flowers depends on what is available; the arrangement is always kept in a calm, muted palette in keeping with the occasion.

This spray is composed entirely by the florist — the choice of flowers, colours and form rests with whoever is arranging that day at the ifiora studio. It always begins with fresh flowers, seasonal or year-round, filled out with plenty of greenery and set on floral foam. The finished arrangement may be all of one kind or mixed, yet it always keeps a character suited to a mourning ceremony. The photograph shows one example; every spray is unique and made by hand.

Two colours that mean more in Poland than anywhere else. Made to be laid at the grave, this spray is built on a base of mixed greenery on which white and red roses are set in equal measure. White-and-red flowers are placed on the graves of soldiers, insurgents and those who served the country, and also when a family wishes to mark the departed's love of the homeland. Fitting for the funeral, for anniversaries and for national holidays.

The dawn glow appears in the sky quietly and briefly — beautiful, yet given to reflection. The funeral spray that carries its name gathers anthurium, chrysanthemums and cream roses in a green key, lit with accents of pink, violet and white. The soft passages of colour hold what we feel in parting: sorrow threaded with gratitude for the years shared. The arrangement may be laid by the coffin during the ceremony or at the grave.

Rest in peace — the words spoken at the close of almost every ceremony gave this spray its name. The arrangement joins white daisies with red roses against decorative greenery: white read as a sign of peace, red as remembrance of the ones we love. Its simple, two-colour form keeps the spray fitting no matter who brings it — family, neighbours or colleagues. It suits the funeral itself, and later a visit to the grave on the anniversary. The choice of flowers may vary a little with the season, while the balance of colour is kept.

The name of this spray speaks for its colours: daisies in muted shades of red and orange recall the tone of bronze — the metal of bells and monuments. It is a dignified palette, suspended between autumn and eternity, without a trace of brightness. The flowers are set closely, in a simple mourning form to be laid by the coffin or at the grave. A fitting choice when we wish to say farewell with the gravity owed to an older generation and all it gave.

In mourning, red does not speak of joy — it speaks of a bond that does not fade. The Ember spray brings roses and carnations together in a deep, red key, set in a classic funeral form. Two traditional flowers of remembrance complete one another: the rose lends dignity, the carnation lasting strength and simplicity. At the ifiora studio we prepare this arrangement with farewells in mind for those whose presence meant a great deal — parents, spouses, friends of many years.

A kaganek is an old Polish word for a small light carried through the dark. The spray that bears the name stays in shades of green with a clear note of white, brought together from white asters, chrysanthemums and carnations. In Polish tradition the chrysanthemum has long accompanied remembrance of the departed, while the green offers rest to eyes wearied by a difficult day. The arrangement suits the funeral ceremony and may afterwards remain at the grave as a sign that loved ones are near.
