A ring of white and red roses, supported on a stand with wooden legs, unites the symbolism of the national colours with the closed form of a wreath — a sign of memory that endures. Fresh foliage and sprigs of fir fill the spaces between the buds, giving the whole density and depth of colour. The wreath holds an upright position beside the coffin and the monument, which makes it fitting for state, military and anniversary ceremonies as well.
