A modest wreath can express more than an elaborate arrangement. Rest in Peace is a circle of white daisies, tied with a dark ribbon that completes its mourning character. Small, pale flowers and the closed form of a wreath have long stood for remembrance without pathos — quiet and faithful. Such a wreath is laid on the casket or at the grave; it is also chosen for the farewells of children and the young, where simplicity holds a particular meaning.
