A spray rose differs from a classic one in that a single stem grows several smaller flowers. A bouquet of such roses in a cream shade looks light, natural and a little garden-grown, though the petals keep a velvety, full form. Cream is a calm colour that imposes nothing, which is why it suits a wedding, an anniversary and a grandmother's birthday alike. The scale here is an open question: we start at nine stems and finish at more than two hundred, if you're planning a truly grand gesture. The composition may change slightly, depending on the roses available at the time.
