Red against a burgundy backdrop is a pairing that needs nothing more — like a good dress the colour of wine. We pack fresh red roses tightly into a deep burgundy box, so the velvety buds form an even, soft surface. The result looks stately and very much made for the evening: right for Valentine's Day, a wedding anniversary, a proposal over dinner. The flower box has a practical side too — it stands on its own from the start, with no vase to find and no stems to trim.
