Leaving out any other flowers draws the eye to the purity of the form: densely set buds create an even, pale circle, edged with foliage and fir needles. The white rose conveys respect, calm and hope, which is why it suits farewells to people of any age. The whole rests on a frame with wooden legs, making it easy to display the wreath with dignity during the ceremony.
