The blue of hydrangea calls to mind the sea at dawn — calm, cool, deep. Around it we arrange delicate roses, carnations and peonies, until the composition begins to ripple with shades like water under the wind. We close the whole in a stylish box tied with decorative ribbons; a box prepared this way just needs to be set on the table, because the floral foam inside keeps the flowers fresh. At ifiora we reach for this set when someone asks for flowers unlike all the rest — less obvious than red, and just as full of feeling.
