Sunflowers and roses set the rhythm of this wreath; between them run sprigs of goldenrod and statice, blurring the boundaries of colour — from yellow to saturated red. Foliage and fir needles give the composition the weight and depth suited to the character of a funeral. The warm palette calls to mind late summer, and so it is often chosen to bid farewell to people who loved nature and work close to it. The wreath stands on a frame with wooden legs.
