Pairing pink with violet gives a reflective composition of cool gentleness. Here gerberas sit beside irises, small santini chrysanthemums fill the space between them, and the fleshy flower heads of sedum bring a distinct texture. The base is made of foliage and dense fir needles. Such a range of colours invites contemplation and quiets the space around the coffin. The wreath takes the form of a full circle on a frame with wooden legs, steady during the ceremony and later at the graveside.
